After nearly five and half years at MMG, Executive General Manager – Business Development Michael Nossal has tendered his resignation, effective July this year.
Mr Nossal joined MMG in 2010 and has played a key leadership role in major development projects and mergers and acquisitions at MMG, including the recent acquisition of the Las Bambas project in Peru.
“Over nearly five and half years, Mike has made an outstanding contribution to MMG’s growth,” said MMG CEO Andrew Michelmore.
“On behalf of Board and management of MMG I extend our thanks and well wishes to Mike for the future.”
Mr Nossal has resigned to take up another role within the mining sector. An internal and external recruitment process is now underway and an interim management structure will be in place until a permanent replacement is found.
