MMG wishes to advise that it has deferred the release of its quarterly production report, previously scheduled for Monday 25 October. Accordingly, the teleconference scheduled for that date will now not occur.
MMG has taken this decision following the announcement earlier this week of the proposed acquisition of MMG by Minmetals Resources (MMR) – a Hong Kong-listed company – and the attendant need to ensure that any information that may be material to MMR’s shareholders is first released via the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong.
